Sharon Jiang


Sharon is a lab research analyst and de facto lab manager in the David Lab. She has an MS in Environmental Sciences and Engineering and a BSPH in Environmental Health from the UNC Gillings School of Global Public Health. Under the direction of Dr. Jill Stewart, Sharon studied the potential contribution of lysogenic phages in coliphage enumeration methods in the context of wastewater. In the David Lab, Sharon provides administrative and wet lab support for all projects, predominantly for dietary plant metabarcoding. She is a big fan of the local library, bird identification, and cats.
