Heather is an Associate Scientist in the David lab. Heather works with a little bit of everything in the lab, from bioreactors to coordinating human studies and just day-to-day management of the lab. She recently completed a Master’s in Environmental Health from East Carolina University, and she holds a Bachelor’s in Microbiology from North Carolina State University. She has worked broadly, from state clinical labs (NC Dept. of Agriculture), to startups (Novan Therapeutics), to multinational non-profit research groups (RTI International). Outside of the lab, Heather is an avid soccer player and loves travel.
