The David Lab

I am a Ph.D. student in the Computational Biology and Bioinformatics (CBB) program and joined the David Lab in 2021. I graduated with a B.S. in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Virginia in 2020. My undergraduate research focused on applying computational techniques to improve the curation of genome-scale metabolic network models with an emphasis on probiotic bacteria. In the David Lab, I am developing statistical methods to improve our understanding of how diet shapes the gut microbiome. Outside of the lab, I enjoy spending time with friends and family, hiking, reading, and playing video games.
