Dorothy joined the David Lab as a postdoctoral associate in July 2023. Prior to this position she graduated with her PhD in Nutritional Sciences from Cornell University where her dissertation focused on the relationships between dietary intake, genetics, and gut and oral microbes. She is also a Swarthmore College alumna. She is excited to combine her interests in genomics and nutrition by working on all things FoodSeq/ DNA metabarcoding! Outside of the lab she loves to cook, write, and explore new trails.
